"Life" / Poem- By Lucy Franklin

 

 

"Life"

 

A child is born each and everyday,

But in each and passing day no longer a baby will they stay!

The family unit will grow with more if God sees fit,

That the parents are ready and fully equip.

Each day will go by very very fast,

Nothing in this world ever does last,

So don't fret, When that Baby is Off to marry,

Start a family of its own,

Because it is NOW GROWN,

Or off to College to prepare for a career of it's own desire,

With great inspiration to set the WORLD on Fire!

Each day will go by very very fast,

Nothing in this world ever does last,

Now you and your soul mate look back to the past,

Looking through your life in a photo album - And you all were the CAST!

You peer at each other in amazement now,

Vacations, Weddings, Funerals, Graduations, WOW!

Each day will go by very very fast,

Nothing in this world ever does last,

This keeps playing over and over in my MIND,

I can hear the words, and God saying you are made by my DESIGN!

He says - Yes Each Day will go by very very FAST,

Nothing in this World ever does LAST!

But Life ETERNAL with ME surely WILL,

For now keep living, Being the LIGHT!

I will be on your RIGHT,

Just UNTIL.............

About Lucy/ Self-Taught Artist

     I Lucy am a self-taught artist.  I found my  gift at a late age of 55.  This just goes to show you what gifts we all have, That we all with creativity need to tap into.  Don't be afraid to explore. Don't try to be perfect.  That's what makes a true artist. UNIQUE! Fine artist are taught.

     After the lost of both parents that and severe grief and depression.  I found something that I had heard before that ART HEALS.  IT DOES!  I am in my happiest place when I am in my little studio creating.  Nothing more exciting then to have a vision or get an inspiration and see it miraculously come alive on canvas.

      I paint in acrylic, watercolors and sometimes oils.  I even like to create with colored pencil or oil pastels.  Never think you are to old to take up a new hobby. I write a lot of poetry, I find this too, Also is a good expression of the soul and very healing.  Most often my writings are SPIRITUAL about the Power and Love of Christ Jesus.  My Lord and Savior.
